Team Knollwood started their 2026 show season with a bang.

Our show horses headed to the National Equestrian Center in St Louis to compete at the Bridlespur Society Horse Show. The facility is perfect for an early season show, and the competition was deep.

Jane and Eli made their team debut at Bridlespur and made quite an impact. Jane and the ever-expressive Undulata’s Crystal Illusionist finished second in their qualifier and were named reserve champions.

This team is  going to have a blast this season.

Mother daughter duo Kim and Allison had a fun ladies weekend at the show.

Kim and Jaydee won both their Monarch Single Bit qualifier and championship, while daughter Allison finished second in both her qualifier and championship on big, beautiful Arthur.

The equitation ladies were not to be outdone.

Averie and Prince were stars in the walk and trot equitation division, winning both their qualifier and championship.

Sister Shaye won the Good Hands qualifier on Lady.

Maiya showed freshly trimmed Riddle in Saddle Seat Equitation at Bridlespur. The graceful team finished second to Shaye in the Good Hands and won the championship on Saturday.

Leighton and Teddy picked up right where they left off last season. The exciting duo won their UPHA Challenge Cup qualifier and finished second in the Saddle and Bridle Pleasure Equitation Medallion qualifier.

Meanwhile, at Beyond Stable Farm in Illinois, our academy and a few show horses were competing at the IASPHA Spring Show.

Jules made her debut in show horse classes, donning a suit for the first time. She and Willis had a wonderful first show, learning lots of lessons along the way. She and Willis even finished reserve champions in their division!

Our academy riders had quite a first show.

We had a super diverse group of riders at the show, ranging from some of our most experienced academy stars to Stella and Sawyer, who made their show ring debuts.

Some highlights of the weekend?

Five Knollwood Kids moved into the walk, trot, and canter division at this show. Congratulations to Eleni, Kelsey, Madison, Rags, and Rebecca for making the move to Saturdays.

We had sisters competing against each other in the walk trot and canter world for the first time. Veteran Dilly came out on top, but Rags is fighting her way up.

Eight-year-old Vienna was going to be alone in her age group, so she rode ‘up’ with the 9- and 10-year-olds to get some competition. Our Knollwood Kid won the 10 and under championship and won the all ages pattern walk trot pattern class.  She truly rose to the challenge.

Our two first time show riders, Sawyer and Stella were both stars in their debuts. They learned lessons, competed in their first ever pattern classes away from home, and soaked up all that your first horse show has to offer.

We all learned a lot.

Our techs, Dilly and Kali are fabulous.

Our horses are beyond compare.

Madison Classic Horse Show

Food Drive Starts

May 24

For over 15 years, the Knollwood Knockouts have supported the Food Pantry of Waukesha. We hold a food drive at a time of year when the pantry runs low. As kids get out of school, many of them are missing their lunches at school.

We’re asking Knollwood Kids to collect a minimum of five food kits or cash equivalents  for the pantry. Each rider who collects the minimum will join a team to compete in ‘games of skill’ on Saturday, June 6 at 6:00 PM.

It’s a blast, and it helps our neighbors in need.

Food kits and donations must be in by May 30 so we can assemble teams.

You.do.not.want.to.miss.this.

Memorial Day

May 25

We will not be holding lessons.

Your instructor will arrange a makeup.

Monarch Academy Show

May 29-31

Beyond Stable Farm

It’s a new academy show!

We’re happy to be traveling to a new show run by a terrific organization.

Knollwood Olympics

June 6

It’s everyone’s favorite community service project.

Any Knollwood Kid who collects a minimum of five food kits or cash equivalents gets to join a team to compete in ‘games of skill,’

It’s all fun, ridiculous, and it benefits the Food Pantry of Waukesha.

See you soon at the barn, or the ingate!
