Team Knollwood lost a valuable faculty member when Amos was laid to rest today.

Officially known as Famous Asset, Amos made his mark on many Knollwood riders. Known for his small stride and speedy legs, he was affectionately called ‘Happy Feet’ by many who learned from the Amos experience.

Never one to walk straight down a rail when he could get crooked, he enjoyed challenging riders of all levels. He taught many a rider to remain calm, especially on patterns, and to let his body catch up with his always active brain.

In his later years, Amos became a valuable walk trot and canter horse for our 10 and under riders, and enjoyed his senior role.

Our riders are better after learning from the challenges he offered them and the confidence he instilled in them.

Peace, Amos.
