With the arrival of spring, things are starting to heat up for Team Knollwood.

11 academy riders are heading to Beyond Stable Farm in Woodstock for the Academy Palooza this weekend. This all academy show is a terrific venue for our up and coming academy stars with classes for our green and novice riders.

We’re so excited to see Adalyn, Charlotte, and Kali make their debuts as members of Knollwood’s academy team this weekend. Knockout co-president Emma will be there to mentor the stars, and Hanna will be there to make sure hair and makeup are perfect. Mia will be there to prep horses and to offer encouragement and advice from a seasoned academy pro.

We have lots of other riders riding new horses, riding in new divisions, and those furthering their experience in the horse show world.

It’s going to be a wonderful weekend at a great facility. Please feel free to join us at the show!

The show barn is heading to their first big show of the season with 20 + horses heading to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Riders will compete at the FASH show from May 5-8 against some of the best horses and riders in the Midwest.

Several new teams will be making their debuts at the show, and it promises to be an exciting competition. We’ll post updates of all the happenings!

The barrels are ready for your food donations in the show barn lounge! While our food drive for the Food Pantry of Waukesha County starts officially on May 1, you’re welcome to drop off your food kits at any time through May 21. Any Knollwood Kid of any age who donates a minimum of 5 food kits or a donation of $75 to to the Food Pantry of Waukesha County can compete on an Olympic Team on May 21 at 6:00.

You won’t want to miss the fun, and the chance to help neighbors in need.

Great news, we’re hosting a cookout after the Olympics are completed! The Knockouts are providing the meat for the cookout, and we’re asking Olympians to bring items to make the gathering a real party.  Please sign up here to bring items.

The Knollwood Spring Show is fast approaching on May 13-15.

Entries are complete, classes are set, and shirt packets should be ready sometime next week.

We’re looking for help from Team Knollwood to make this event a great one for our many participants.

Gift baskets sign ups are posted in the school barn lounge. Please consider donating an item or 2 to the basket of your choice. All donations should be at Knollwood by May 9.

It takes a village to pull off an event of this size.  Please consider donating your time and talents to make the weekend a success for our many participating families. You can sign up here to help.

Great thanks to Hartland Family Chiropractic for sponsoring our concession stand for the show!

See you soon at the barn, or at the in-gate!
