Knollwood Farm’s summer riding school is a unique opportunity for children and young adults ages 7-17 to learn all about horses and have fun doing it during sessions from June through August. Each Summer Riding School session closes with a mini horse show.

At Knollwood’s Summer Riding School you will learn:

How to conduct yourself safely around horses.

Fundamentals of the English Saddle Seat riding discipline.

Proper horse care, including grooming, tacking up, feeding, and more.

Different breeds, types and colors of horses.

Types of horse equipment and how to care for it.

Horse anatomy and psychology.

Sportsmanship and Showmanship.

Rates: $750.00 per week

Hours: 9am-3pm

All camp fees must be paid in advance and are non-refundable for missed days or sessions.
