We Love Secret Santa!
Merry Christmas to all!
For those of you who might not know me, and I doubt there’s anyone on earth who doesn’t recognize this face, my name is Bonnie Novel Santoro. All my friends call me Sundance. I’m a lesson horse here at Knollwood, and for my avatar, I chose this picture of me with Savannah and Sydney. I think I did a good job teaching them, if I do say so myself!
We’re out in the pasture enjoying our day off, and hope you’re enjoying the day with your family and friends. I was elected the spokesman for all of the Knollwood animals. (Skeet is with Mother today, but did create my ID for me and gave me a quick tour of the computer before he started his day off.)
Actually, the school horses were afraid to vote for anyone but me, because I’m the master of the pasture. My able lieutenants Skipper and Tony rounded up the votes for me, and Skeet set up my ID, so here we go!
We want to thank everyone for taking part in secret santa this year! Thanks to you, we’ve enjoyed two of the best bran mashes ever!! Imagine a hot breakfast of mushy bran, which is absolutely fabulous. Add to that mints, crunchy horse treats, apples, carrots, and chewy Christmas nougats swimming in the hot bran! We get to have hot breakfast treat twice in one week!! MMmmm…What could be better after a cool night outside playing with your friends?
We received some fabulous gifts from our human friends this week! Brinkley has a new grey and maroon halter, and Skipper is looking fabulous in his new purple one! Lots of us received shiny new brushes so we can look our best this year!
Merlin is very thankful for a new pair of his favorite fuzzy bell boots. As you can tell, he’s pretty hard on his clothes!
I promised Skeet I’d include some small animals in the blog, so… Champ would like to thank his santa for the beautiful leather collar with his name on it! Dozer has greatly enjoyed his new bed, and the cats love it as well!
Dean would like to thank his secret santa for all the food, and mostly for the mouse toy.
Chili loves his dog bed and chews!
I can’t spend too much time at the computer because Carol might see me in her office! (OOPS…I think I might have made her computer chair sit a little lower.) Plus, we have a an event commitee meeting at the round bale soon to finalize New Year’s Eve plans out here!
From all of us in the pasture, we wish you a Merry Christmas with lots of treats that are as nice as the ones you shared with us!
