A Horse for Hannah

Hannah thought she was at the farm on the Monday after Lexington to help with pattern camp, and boy,  was she surprised when Scott, Eric, Carol and Kelsey brought  a beautiful walk trot horse into the arena wearing a big red bow!

Hannah’s first horse is a  4 year old Saddlebred gelding named Sky Bravo.  Scott, Carol and Eric will show him this season in junior 3 gaited classes and prepare him for Hannah to show in junior exhibitor classes in 2012.

Hannah in her academy debut

Hannah started riding at Knollwood in our lesson program when she was 9 years old.  She worked through many group and private lessons, and started showing academy a year later.

After several successful years of academy showing, Hannah’s parents decided to lease Callaway’s Don’t Panic for their daughter to show in the competitive country pleasure classes. From their debut in March, 2011, they have been a force in a

very tough division in the Midwest.

She served as a very active president of the Knollwood Knockouts from 2009 to 2010, a year in which the group reached out to the community with service to Lake Country Caring,  breast cancer research at the Wisconsin Futurity Show, and the Waukesha County clearing house with adopting a family during the holidays.

In addition to riding, Hannah also is involved in

Knockouts officers, 2010. Hannah, Syd, Lizzy, and Rachel

forensics  at her high school, and recently participated in the nationals in Washington, DC.  She’s active in many volunteer activities, including Special Olympics.  She credits the ability to ‘multi-task’ while riding to help her balance all the opportunities in her life.

We’re very excited for Hannah and her new horse, and we wish them both the best!
