3 Team Knollwood Members to World Cup Tryouts!

Three members of team Knollwood have been invited to try out for the US team set to compete in the Saddle Seat World Cup in South Africa in December, 2012.

 

                                                             Nick Maupin,

 

 

                                                       Ashley Baird,

 

 

                                                and Angela Darrow

 

have advanced to the try outs to be held at William Woods University on March 30 and 31.  Ashley and Angela are vying for a spot on the 5 gaited team, while Nick is trying for both the 3 and 5 gaited teams. (Nick was the co captain of the gold medal winning 2010 Team USA in the 3  gaited division.)

Riders will compete on two different, unfamiliar horses in two different phases of the try out.  One session will be for rail work while the other will be patterns.
